SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — Tragedy struck Tara Estates Thursday evening when three people were found dead inside a home in a suspected double murder-suicide. Victims have been identified as Dawn Morrow, her mother Nancy Lindwedel, and Douglas Morrow, who authorities believe fatally shot his wife and mother-in-law before taking his own life.
Police were dispatched shortly after 5 p.m. following a 911 call reporting unresponsive individuals with severe head injuries. Officers from the Summersville Police Department and Nicholas County Sheriff’s deputies secured the scene and began a detailed investigation, emphasizing that the incident appears isolated with no ongoing danger to the public.
