Beyond her career, Judith was a devoted family member. She leaves behind her loving husband, Todd, and their children, Yanzi and Zakwena. Those close to her remember her warmth, laughter, and the joy she brought to everyday moments. Her kindness, generosity, and sense of community will long be remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held February 27 at Life Church in Edmonton. Judith Odhuno-Were’s legacy of care, leadership, and love will continue to inspire the University of Alberta community and everyone whose life she touched.
