Brown in a head-on collision on New Oakman Highway. First responders arrived promptly to the rural scene near Gray Farm Road, where both individuals were pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the violent crash.

Authorities from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency documented the scene thoroughly, reconstructing the events leading to the collision. The driver of the second vehicle, Christopher A. Brown, 50, was critically injured and transported by air to UAB Hospital. Investigators have not yet released information regarding the factors contributing to the crash.
